The Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei was formed in April 2006, to promote the style of Tomiki Aikido, be non-political and friendly whilst maintaining high technical standards.
The Association holds, regular dan gradings, courses, social functions.
If you are looking to teach or associate to a group that promotes high technical standards and etiquette without the egos that so many groups have inherently, then maybe we are what you are looking for.

ZETAR Is Affiliated to the British All Styles Aikido Associations and the BNMAA.
Through our affiliation to these governing bodies we can offer clubs groups and Aikidoka of any style licensing insurance & coach education courses.
For those who practice other Budo we can also provide a one cover for all licence.

City & Guild, HSE, CIEH and Skills Active.
All ZETAR/BASAA instructors have an obligation to provide "Duty of Care" to students. All qualifications are re-newed on a three year basis. This is so instructors and coaches can keep up with new developments and information, as a ZETAR/BASAA instructor/coach you are considered to be in "Continual Learning Development"
Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei can only maintain its excellence in the teaching of Aikido through the quality of its instructors. The qualities ZETAR requires of its instructors relate to their abilities in Aikido, their teaching skills and their personal attributes as individuals.
Zen Eikoku Tomiki Aikido Renmei is a partner association of the Aikido Development Society and the European Tomiki Aikido Federation. Through these partnerships our members have access to BAB coach qualification if they wish.
